INHUS Group Invests in Solar Power Park and Switches to 100% Renewable Energy

The INHUS Group is strengthening its commitment to sustainability by investing over €3 million in a new solar power park. Scheduled to begin operations by the end of this year, the park will allow INHUS to fully power its operations with renewable energy. From the moment the park goes live, all electricity consumed by the company—around 2 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) annually—will be generated from solar energy.

The new solar park, covering 25 hectares, boasts an installed capacity of 22 megawatts peak (MWp), with nearly 4 MWp owned by the INHUS Group. This initiative will make a significant impact on reducing carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions. The park is expected to cut emissions by approximately 4,600 tons of CO₂ per year, with INHUS’s share contributing to a reduction of around 776 tons annually.

Sustainability Strategy – A Long-Term Commitment

“INHUS Group’s investment in renewable energy is part of our long-term sustainability strategy. Our goal is not only to reduce CO₂ emissions but also to improve energy efficiency and decrease our dependence on fossil fuels. This is a significant step that reinforces our contribution to the development of green energy in Lithuania and promotes sustainable business practices,” said Audrius Tulaba, CEO of INHUS Group.
