A new 22,000 square meter office complex, Citypassagen, will be constructed in the heart of Örebro, near the central station.
The project is being delivered under a design–build model, meaning we are responsible for the design, manufacturing, logistics, and construction of the building structures. The entire project is being developed using Building Information Modelling (BIM).
With a total investment of 420 million SEK, Citypassagen will stand out for its environmentally friendly solutions. The building will use ecological construction materials and be powered by green energy, incorporating a renewable heating system and a central cooling system.
Citypassagen will also feature several innovative technologies. It will include rainwater collection systems for secondary use, and solar panels will be integrated into our custom-made triple-layer precast concrete façade panels.
To promote sustainable transportation, the building will offer significantly more bicycle parking than car spaces, along with charging stations for both electric bikes and electric vehicles.
The installation of the building’s structural elements is scheduled for completion by February 2018.
